Day One: Wednesday 1st April, 12pm – 4pm
Day Two: Thursday 2nd April, 12pm – 5pm
Full House Theatre Studio
Think you could design a game people actually want to play? This Easter, we’re giving you the space, tools, and creative freedom to prove it. Across this two-day project you’ll:
• Try out lots of games
• Create your own game world
• Make your own rules, characters, challenges and twists
• Bring your invention to life
At the end of day two, we’ll flip the room into a full‑on board game café for an epic showdown. You’ll get the chance to play everyone else’s creations — battle it out, team up, and see who’s made the most addictive, or genius game of the week.
No experience needed. Just imagination, and a willingness to get stuck in. If you love creating, competing, or just trying something different, this is your Easter sorted.
This is a two-day event. Only book a place if you are able to attend both days. The minimum age for this activity is 11. Please do not book tickets if you do not meet the 11-17 age threshold.
The Snail Trail – a brand-new free art trail for families in Ampthill Park!
We’ve commissioned local community artist and art psychotherapist Ross Bolwell-Williams to work with local children to create a vibrant art trail in Ampthill Park. Year 3 students from The Firs Lower School collaborated with Ross, sharing their creative ideas to design their own bold prints and patterns.
Once these wonderful 3D creations have been brought to life, this escargatoire (group of snails!) will be installed onto trees in the park, providing families with a colourful surprise to brighten up their woodland walks.
The Snail Trail will officially open on Sunday 5th April. Come along and give this delightful, family-friendly adventure a try!
To help guide families on their quest to find the snails, free activity resources are available to collect from Ampthill Town Council (next to The Coffee Lodge in Ampthill Park). You can also download a copy below:
As this activity is in an open public space, we kindly ask residents to look after the snails and treat them with care and kindness.
This wonderful initiative is supported through the Central Beds UKSPF funded ‘Ampthill Almanac Project’.
Please note: if you’re attending an event in ampthill park, the car park can get busy, so please bear this in mind. Leave in plenty of time and/or walk where possible. If you have any access requirements you wish to discuss, please get in touch by emailing Info@fullhouse.org.uk or calling 01525 630783.
