Free family festival
Houghton Regis Hullabaloo is a free annual festival which celebrates art and performance in Houghton Regis every September. Everything you will see as part of Hullabaloo has been put together by Full House Theatre in partnership with community youth arts project Houghton Regis Art Town.

Circo Rum Ba Ba Presents
The whale – plastic ocean

Squeeze into the belly of an enormous Whale in the depths of the bubbling, kelp-swirling ocean! Bold explorers will join an aquabatic Diver who will lead them swimmingly through the life of an ancient Leatherback Turtle. With exquisite puppets, comedy and music, Circo Rum Ba Ba explore the tale of sea creatures and their battle to survive in an ocean full of rubbish.

Your sides will hurt from laughing as you join four book enthusiasts on a chaotic quest to recruit more readers. With characters you’ll root for and juggling and acrobatics to take your breath away, this joyous show is a hilarious adventure for all the family. Without new members, the book club will surely perish – our Hardback Heroes can’t let such a tragic epilogue come to pass… They need you!

This fun and upbeat outdoor performance celebrates and takes inspiration from the exquisite traditional art of Indian and Persian miniature painting. Performers in sumptuous costumes create vibrant and colourful mini worlds of dance, music and puppetry.

Prepare to be amazed by the explosive tricks of Simple Cypher’s newest outdoor production. Three performers blur the boundaries between hip hop and circus to give a cheeky and effortlessly cool performance. Roll Play features breath-taking acrobatics, juggling and feel-good choreographies performed to a pulsing urban soundtrack.
