Statement of inclusion

As members of TYA UK, Full House recognises that we can do ‘better than has been done up until now’ (TYA) on matters of inclusion. We stand by, and will work hard to deliver on, the TYA UK Quality of Difference Manifesto which can be found here.

Commissioning opportunity for Luton and Bedfordshire based Creatives

We are looking for individuals or organisations to produce a 20-30 minute pre-recorded creative workshop for inclusion in our online children’s arts festival Feb Fest. Feb Fest is in its 8th year, runs during February half term and is made in partnership with the Culture Trust Luton.

We are very interested to hear from all different types of artists; performers, musicians, writers, poets, anything goes!  You simply must be keen to share your creative skills with young families of Luton and have some experience of running workshops for children.

The short filmed workshop should be suitable for primary aged children, it should encourage creativity, be highly engaging and well edited. We are particularly keen to work with artists from diverse backgrounds. The fee for the successful commission will be up to £400.

To apply for the commission simply send an email to ben@fullhouse.org.uk with a short workshop idea (no longer than one paragraph) and a brief bullet point summary of your previous experience of working with children. Links to websites and cv attachments are welcomed, we are also happy to receive filmed applications. Deadline for submissions is 5pm Tuesday 26th January.

We’re not recruiting for our team or casting at the moment however we are always interested to hear from creatives in the Bedfordshire and Luton area. If you’re an actor, musical director, drama practitioner, set designer, script writer or someone else that can make a positive contribution to our team then get in touch, we’d love to hear from you!
