If you’re a creative practitioner, artist or performer either interested in or already working with children and young people, we want to hear from you! Our projects cover a range of ages from early years to late teens including children and young people with SEND and PMLD.
Creative Pathways Development Sessions
Creative Pathways is our development programme for local artists and creatives, delivering cultural activities for children and young people. We’re halfway through our 18-month project, and we still have lots of opportunities to engage, develop and empower our creative community. The programme is for practitioners at any stage of their career, and you’re welcome to sign up to the sessions that best meet your needs, or all of them!

outdoor arts commission opportunity
for central beds artists:
We want you to co-create an outdoor arts experience for children and young people! The commission is for an artist(s) to undertake a research and development phase involving children and young people leading to the final ‘work’ being presented at Hullabaloo Festival in Houghton Regis. We are particularly interested in applications from performers, storytellers, dance or combined arts practices.
This could be a totally new idea, or something you have been working on but needs further research and development time. Your work will form part of the Hullabaloo Festival Programme on the 13th September 2025. The form of the final sharing is open but could be things like performances, participative workshops or an immersive installation designed to take place outdoors.
As part of the commission process you will attend 4 mentoring sessions to support you in developing your idea, exploring co-creation opportunities and reflecting on your next steps.
