covid-19 update and art town current activity:
We are currently working with young people through online activity and have resumed Art Town Tots with limited spaces. We are running workshops during half term with limited spaces, click here for more information.
Art Town Tots Go Wild In Wellies
Wrap up warm and put on your wellies for creative walks at Houghton Hall Park. Created for toddlers aged 1 to 4 years – and their grown-ups – the outdoor adventure will combine stories, singing and movement. The session is 30 minutes long and will begin from a meeting point in front of Houghton Hall Park visitors centre. Each child’s booking includes 1 adult place at the session, this activity is not designed for babes in arms.
Deposit: sessions are free but require a refundable deposit of £5 upon booking. This will be refunded when you arrive for your session. Please call us on 01525 630783 if you would like to attend but it’s difficult for you to pay the deposit at this time.
Sessions will take place outdoors at Houghton Hall Park and will go ahead in all weathers so please ensure you and your child are dressed appropriately. Please note we will not have access to the toilets in the Houghton Hall Park visitor centre. We will provide hand sanitiser but ask that all children and adults wash their hands before coming to sessions.
If your child or a member of your household has symptoms of Covid-19, or is currently self-isolating as a result of advice from NHS Test & Trace you must not attend the session. Please let us know as soon as possible if there are any changes in your circumstances and can no longer attend.
Houghton Regis Art Town creates opportunities for people living in the town to experience and enjoy the arts.
Children and young people can take part in free sessions run by our trained practitioners weekly during term time.
Previous sessions have included circus skills, drama, singing, visual arts, costume making and dance.
