travelling through Greensands

From Summer 2024 to Summer 2025, we worked alongside children and young people on a project focussed on the stories and identities of families living on Gypsy, Roma and Traveller sites in Greensand Country. We regularly visited three sites collaborating with the community on a range of creative activities that explore culture, place and heritage. In June 2025, as part of GRT History month, we visited local schools and took their work on tour with a co-curated exhibition in local libraries.

We had a wonderful time producing and leading the project and was fortunate to collaborate with some amazing local artists:
