In Tune
In Tune is a music project created with and for children and young people from Bedfordshire’s Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities.
Building on relationships developed through our existing creative programmes, In Tune brings high-quality, culturally relevant music experiences directly to Traveller sites across Bedfordshire. Through a programme of hands-on workshops, live music experiences and creative exploration, children and young people will have the opportunity to discover new forms of music-making, develop their confidence and express themselves creatively.
At the heart of the project is co-creation. Young participants help shape the activities, sharing their ideas and interests and gradually taking a leading role in deciding the direction of the programme. In Tune aims to create meaningful opportunities to connect, create and celebrate through music.
Over two years (2025- 2027), the project will deliver a range of community engagement visits, music-making sessions and opportunities to experience live music helping children explore music, build new skills and enjoy memorable artistic experiences together.
